SCHENECTADY, NY (05/13/2013)(readMedia)-- On Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., the Friends of the Schenectady County Public Library will present a program on John Adams, second President of the United States and his wife Abigail, one of the most famous partnerships in American History. The program will be held in the McChesney Room at the Central Library, 99 Clinton Street, Schenectady.
The speaker for this program is Jim Sefcik, retired Director of the Louisiana State Museum, lecturer for Union College's Academy of Lifelong Learning, and presenter for the Friends of SCPL Books Sandwiched In program. Mr. Sefcik has also taught American History at a number of colleges including Gannon, the University of New Orleans and Empire State College.
