Who: Homecoming brings together members of the Geneva College community, including students, alumni, faculty, staff, neighbors, friends and citizens of Beaver County.
When: On Saturday, October 1 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
What: Geneva College's annual Homecoming festivities. This year's Festival theme is
"Back to the Future." Activities with particular news and photography appeal include:
- The College Hill Festival, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. –A sidewalk festival with artisans, ethnic food, vendors and live musical performances.
- Community Stage, 10 a.m. –A wide selection of local groups displaying their various skills and talents.
- Kid Zone, 12:30-3:30 p.m. –Kids are invited to enjoy games, balloons, face painting and a petting zoo.
- New Song Concert, 2 p.m. –Returning New Song alumni and current New Song members will be holding a concert in John White Chapel.
- Pre-game Homecoming Crowning Ceremony followed Football Game: Geneva vs. St. Vincent, 3:30 p.m. –These events include the crowning of the 2011 Homecoming king and queen, a Geneva College Marching Band Performance and the homecoming football game. Tickets can be purchased on Old Main lawn or at Reeves Field. Tickets will be $5 for adults and $3 for college students, children (12 and under), and senior citizens.
