Geneva College Summer Camps 2014

BEAVER FALLS, PA (03/25/2014)(readMedia)-- Geneva College has a variety of summer camp offerings, with themes ranging from the arts to sports. Geneva conducts the camps as a way to provide quality recreational and cultural programs to young people in the area.

Geneva's Musical Theatre Camp is open for students in junior and senior high school and will be held from June 16-27. Classes offered include acting, elocution, vocal techniques, as well as rehearsals for performances of famous musical theatre acts that will take place on June 26 and 27 in the Bagpiper Theatre.

The Geneva College men's basketball program will host Above the Hoop Basketball Camps for boys in grades 4-11 throughout the summer. Day Camp will be June 23-26 and Overnight Camp will be June 29- July 2.

The Geneva College women's basketball program will host two Girls Basketball Camps: Day Camp from June 18-20 and Shooting Camp from June 26-28.

The Geneva Soccer Academy is open to boys and girls ages 6-16 and will meet June 23-26 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Friday, June 27 from 9 to 11 a.m. Campers will be divided by age and ability, and instructed on fundamental playing skills, sportsmanship and the Geneva style of quick play. Instruction will be given by Geneva College men's and women's coaches, as well as former collegiate players and experienced coaches from the area.
