BEAVER FALLS, PA (12/19/2013)(readMedia)-- Christian rock bands Building 429 and Family Force 5, joined by guest Hawk Nelson, kick off the "We Won't Be Shaken" national tour at Geneva College's Metheny Fieldhouse on Friday February 21, 2014. The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. with doors opening at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased through Geneva College. Prices, which include all handling fees, are $21 for the general public, $15 for high school students who register through Geneva's Building 429 Block Party and $51 for VIP tickets. VIP tickets include priority floor seating, early admission, and a meet-and-greet session with the bands. Discounted tickets of $10 each are available for Geneva students, who must purchase tickets through the Student Programs Office in order to receive this special rate.
Tickets can be purchased in advance on the Geneva website at www.geneva.edu/building429. After use, ticket stubs can be redeemed at the Beaver Valley Mall Chick-fil-A, a sponsor of the concert, for a free chicken sandwich.
Christian rockers Building 429 gained national attention with the release of 2011's Listen to the Sound. The leading single, "Where I Belong", was named Billboard Magazine's #1 Christian Song of 2012 and became the longest running #1 single in the history of Billboard's Christian Audience Chart at 15 weeks. This past summer, Building 429 released We Won't Be Shaken, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Christian Audience Chart.
Family Force 5 is a Christian rock and dance group with four full-length studio albums under its belt. Known for its live performances, Family Force 5 brings a high-energy experience with its show filled with crowd participation. The band's most recent release, III, includes the hit singles "Not Alone," "Get on Outta Here" and "Wobble," all of which charted nationally.
Hawk Nelson is a veteran Christian pop rock band, having played together for nearly 10 years with six full-length albums. Since being voted CCM Magazine's "Favorite New Artist" of 2006, Hawk Nelson has continued to release award-winning music. This past April, Hawk Nelson released its newest album, Made, which charted on Billboard's Christian Albums at #15 and includes the hit single "Words."
