Geneva College announces new online degree programs for graduate and adult students

The latest degrees added to the college's expanding list of fully online business-related programs are a bachelor's of management and a master's of leadership studies.

BEAVER FALLS, PA (10/31/2014)(readMedia)-- The rapidly changing and complex organizations found in today's workplace require capable leaders who can quickly and effectively respond to business and management challenges. To meet this increasing demand for well prepared and ethical business management professionals, Geneva College has added two new affordable, fully online degree programs: Bachelor of Science in Management and Master of Science in Leadership Studies.

The Bachelor of Science in Management is a distinctive bachelor's completion program in business designed for working adult students. With a fully online format that allows busy adults to complete coursework when it's most convenient, students develop functional management skills and knowledge through practical curriculum grounded in best business practice. Courses in human resources, management and supervision, finance and accounting, and business ethics prepare graduates to be effective leaders who can manage resources, solve problems and oversee employees.

Because adult students possess a wealth of personal and professional experience, the online B.S. in Management degree can be earned in as few as 17 months, as with all of Geneva's Adult Degree Programs. In addition to timely completion, these programs have an impressive graduation rate, consistently above the average.

The Master of Science in Leadership Studies is a business-related graduate degree program that transforms business professionals into strong leaders. Students may choose from three areas of specialization: Financial Operations, Project Management and Leadership, or Ministry Leadership. By offering these areas of expertise, Geneva's Leadership Studies program helps graduates distinguish themselves in a crowded job market. Courses in leadership and motivation, decision making, professional development, and organizational strategy provide students a theoretical framework that can be applied immediately in real-world situations.

The online M.S. in Leadership Studies program can be completed in just 24 months. Students are grouped in cohorts of 10-15 people, which encourage a higher degree of learning as well as personal interaction between classmates and faculty. The curriculum and format of the online leadership studies program is based on Geneva's classroom-based Master of Science in Organizational Leadership program, which has helped hundreds of professionals advance their careers throughout its 20-year history.

All of Geneva's Christ-centered degree programs are recognized for both quality and accessibility. U.S. News & World Report ranks the college as a 2015 Best Value school, placing Geneva at number six in the North region. This determination is made by accounting for the academic quality of the institution and the net cost of attendance for those receiving the average level of need-based financial aid.

Instructors in every Geneva program are knowledgeable, academically qualified and experienced professionals who combine real-world application with established theory. And curriculum in every class is biblically based and presented by Christian professors who are active in their communities.
