CARLSBAD, CA (03/27/2008)(readMedia)-- The San Diego Professional Coaching Alliance (SDPCA) jump-starts April with international speaker, author and educator, James Flaherty, on Monday, April 14, 2008.
Author of Coaching: Evoking Excellence in Others, James Flaherty will present SDPCA members with proven tools and techniques that have helped thousands of people create a path of empowerment. In this new book, Flaherty showcases a systematic approach to coaching and a foundation for how to coach.
Throughout his career, Flaherty has worked with hundreds of executives from Fortune 500 companies such as AT&T, Chrysler, Ernst & Young, and Levi Strauss. He approaches management education by using his brand new methodology, called Integral CoachingSM , which uses linguistics, psychology, biology, and twentieth-century philosophy.

He has designed the Professional Coaching Course, a certification program that provides proven methodologies to those interested in a coaching business, or those who may want to add “coaching” to their existing practice or organization.

James Flaherty is the founder of New Ventures West, a training company committed to supporting individuals who are open to developing themselves and the lives of others, and Co-Founder of Integral Leadership, a provider of coaching and coach training services dedicated to developing top tier managers and their teams.
He has led hundreds of classes throughout North America, South Africa and Europe, and is currently writing a second book entitled Integral Coaching. Meeting registration and networking take place at 9:30 - 10:00 am, meeting and guest speaker at 10:00 am – Noon. No pre-registration is required. A special Coaches-in-Action meeting follows from 12:15 – 1:00 pm.
