CARLSBAD, CA (07/30/2008)(readMedia)-- Identifying pain and offering relief to your clients is the strategy Henry DeVries will discuss at the next San Diego Professional Coaching Alliance (SDPCA) meeting. Psychologists and sociologists have repeatedly found that consumers are more motivated to avoid pain than to seek pleasure. Attendees will learn how to find the pain of their ideal clients and then provide relief through their sales and marketing messages. The presentation will be held, Monday August 11, 2008, at 9:30 am at the Courtyard by Marriott, Kearny Mesa, 8651 Spectrum Center Blvd., San Diego (858- 573-0700).

DeVries, a marketing and client relations expert and the author of Painkiller Marketing, will show coaches how to acquire $50,000 worth of valuable ‘Pain of the Customer' marketing research without spending a dime.

"This presentation provides invaluable insight to anyone involved in the coaching world, particularly those running their own business" says Elizabeth Fried, vice president of marketing and public relations for SDPCA and president of The Learning Engine an executive assessment, development, and coaching firm.
