Jessica Spink Will Receive the First-Ever Bachelor of Arts Degree in Photography from Marian University

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (05/03/2011)(readMedia)-- Jessica Spink, a senior from Indianapolis, will receive the first bachelor of arts degree in photography from Marian University on Saturday, May 7, 2011.

The degree program, which was started in 2008, is led by Bill Foley, an award-winning photojournalist. Foley grew up in Indianapolis and has lived and worked in 47 countries, including Cairo and Beirut for nine years. His series on the 1982 Sabra and Shatila massacres earned him the Pulitzer Prize, an award regarded as the highest national honor in print journalism, literary achievements, and musical composition.
