Just McCarthy Named First-Team All-SUNYAC
BROCKPORT, NY (05/10/2012)(readMedia)-- Sophomore Justin McCarthy (Mohegan Lake, NY/Lakeland) is one of three members of The College at Brockport Golden Eagles Baseball team to be named to the First-Team All-State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Team.
McCarthy finished the season tied for first in the nation with 10 saves. The 10 saves were five more than any other pitcher in the SUNYAC. McCarthy led Brockport with a 1.20 ERA and had a 2-2 record on the mound as the Golden Eagles' primary closer. In 30 innings of work, McCarthy allowed just four earned runs and held opponents to a .173 batting average.
