Kevin O'Hagan Earns Academic Honor
BROCKPORT, NY (02/13/2013)(readMedia)-- Sophomore Kevin O'Hagan (Lake Ronkonkoma, NY/Sachem North) of The College at Brockport Wrestling team has been named to the Empire Collegiate Wrestling Confernece (ECWC) All Academic Team. O'Hagan was one of two Golden Eagles named to the team.
Of the 27 members on the list, O'Hagan holds the highest GPA at 3.81. The sophomore is 7-12 on the year and is 5-6 against Division III opponents this season.
Wrestlers with a cumulative GPA of 3.3 of those that earn an average GPA in the two previous semesters above a 3.3 are eligible for the ECWC All Academic Team. The wrestler must have competed in at least three official contests during the academic year and be eligible to compete in the ECWC Championships.
