Labor & Community Activists Stage "Black Friday" Protest at Wal-Mart

Area Union Members & Community Activists to join national day of action, protest working conditions.

ALBANY, NY (11/21/2012)(readMedia)-- As part of a national effort led by Wal-Mart employees and advocacy groups, Local Union Members from area Labor Councils will join more than 1,000 other actions taking place across the nation on "Black Friday".

Union organizers and activists from community groups including Occupy Albany will take to the streets and urge shoppers to consider why they are supporting sub-standard working conditions with their hard-earned money this holiday season.
