Manetta Joins Independence Leadership

ROCKY POINT, NY (11/29/2007)(readMedia)-- Suffolk Independence Party Chairman Frank MacKay today announced that noted political strategist Anthony Manetta, President of Islandia-based Roosevelt Strategy Group, has joined the Independence Party. Manetta will take a key leadership position in the organization as a new Vice Chair of the Suffolk County Independence Party.

MacKay, the current county, state and national Independence Party Chairman stated: “As I travel around the country to promote the Independence movement I encounter few people that have the kind of political acumen and talent that Anthony Manetta brings to the team. We are looking for talented people to work with us, and we are excited about Anthony’s new leadership role.”

Anthony Manetta is an accomplished public affairs and public relations consultant and has built a stellar relationship on all sides of the political isle. He was named by a Long Island media publication as the “best political puppet master” and he served as the director of Suffolk County Sheriff Vincent DeMarco’s transition team.

Manetta adds, “I am looking forward to my new endeavor as Vice Chairman of the Suffolk County Independence Party and working side by side with Chairman Frank MacKay and the rest of the Independence Party’s leadership team.”
