Nate Matthews Headed to Nationals
BROCKPORT, NY (05/21/2013)(readMedia)-- Nate Matthews (Frankfort, NY/Sauquoit Valley) will represent The College at Brockport Men's Track and Field team at the 2013 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships that begins Thursday at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. Matthews is one of five Golden Eagles that will compete at the meet.
Matthews qualified for the championships with a season-best time in the 800 meter run at the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championships. Matthews posted a time of 1:52.08 to, the 17th fastest time in all of Division III this year.
Matthews will run in the final event of the night on Friday night.
