Nate Matthews Named Second-Team All-Conference
The sophomore came in second place at the SUNYAC Championships.
BROCKPORT, NY (02/28/2012)(readMedia)-- Sophomore Nate Matthews (Frankfort, NY/Sauquoit Valley) earned Second-Team All-State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) honors at the conference championships. The Brockport men finished fifth overall at the championships.
Matthews finished second in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:54.74 seconds, just .52 seconds off the first-place finishers time. Matthews time was also an ECAC-qualifying mark.
