Northwestern College presents the Women's Chorale and Varsity Men's Chorus Homecoming Concert
ST.PAUL, MN (03/24/2011)(readMedia)-- Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minn. presents the Women's Chorale and Varsity Men's Chorus combined homecoming concert. This concert culminates the women's tour to Sioux Falls and NW Iowa and the men's tour to Red Wing and the Rochester/Stewartville area.

Under the direction of Northwestern professor Dr. Mary Kay Geston, the Women's Chorale will perform three new commissioned pieces by Rene Clausen, Daniel Kallman, and Joan Szymko, and the concert features guest flutist/alumna, Andrea Needham. The Varsity Men's Chorus, under the direction of professor Timothy Sawyer, presents a concert of rousing fraternal fun, with sacred, folk music and spirituals and features guest clarinetist Carl Christenson of the Northwestern College Symphonic Band, and pianist Seoyon Susanna Lim.
