GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA (05/26/2010)(readMedia)-- On Saturday, May 15, Jed Brensinger, of Orwigsburg, Pa., delivered the student speech during Gwynedd-Mercy College's 61st Commencement. He was selected from a group of nine applicants.

Brensinger was recognized by Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges this year, and was involved in numerous campus activities and honors societies.

Brensinger graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and hopes to eventually obtain a Doctorate in Psychology to become a college professor.

Based on a 2009 national report from the American Enterprise Institute, Gwynedd-Mercy College ranked fourth in its category for high graduation rates. The college prepares students to become top professionals in the fields of allied health professions, arts and sciences, business, education and nursing. Founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1948, Gwynedd-Mercy College is a coeducational institution offering more than 40 associate, bachelor's and master's degree programs on a full- and part-time basis.
