ALBANY, NY (01/22/2013)(readMedia)-- Public Employees Federation (PEF) President Susan M. Kent today responded to the Governor's Executive Budget presentation in Albany.
Kent said, "We agree with Gov. Andrew Cuomo that New York can do what needs to be done to move the state forward when we all work together. "We are currently analyzing the budget released at 2 p.m.this afternoon, but these are the issues that are of immediate concern:
We will continue to review the details of the governor's budget proposals as they become available, with an eye toward safeguarding public services to New York.
