BEAVER FALLS, PA (01/20/2014)(readMedia)-- This purpose of this annual celebration, which began in 2012, "is to have a time for people to engage the life and works of Martin Luther King Jr. in a variety of ways," according to Director of Multicultural Student Services Kathy Kinzer-Downs.
Hors d'oeuvres will be provided, and the event is free and open to everyone in the surrounding Beaver County communities.

WHAT: | “A Night of the Arts in Honor of Martin Luther King” features live jazz music by the Levels Group, featuring percussionist Terry Levels of Pittsburgh’s Center of Life Jazz Band. In addition, there will be solo Negro Spiritual performances and a Gospel mime act, as well as readings of Dr. King’s works. |
