ST.PAUL, MN (02/10/2014)(readMedia)-- University of Northwestern – St. Paul (UNW) announces UNW Theatre's production of Shakespeare's comedy A Midsummer Night's Dream. The play takes the stage February 26–March 1 at 7 p.m. in Maranatha Hall on Northwestern's campus, 3003 Snelling Ave. N., St. Paul, Minn. Tickets are going fast and may be purchased at 651-631-5151 or unwtickets.com.

Directed by Kari Steinbach, Northwestern Theatre attempts to cure the midwinter blahs by putting a groovy twist on this classic comedy. With a burgeoning and blossoming 1960s America as the backdrop, four lovers go from the cityscape to an enchanted forest brimming with love triangles, magic potions, a gang of fairies and a band of no-talent actors to add to the mischief. With laugh-out-loud characters, and a tangled web of plotlines, UNW's adaption of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream is certain to entertain.
