University of Northwestern Orchestra announces Hawaii tour and local Bon Voyage concert

The Northwestern Orchestra, conducted by David Kozamchak, presents a local concert on May 5 prior to their tour to Hawaii May 18–26. The tour theme is "Symphony in the Pacific," and the orchestra will feature UNW Faculty Artists-in-Residence Roger Frisch (associate concertmaster of the Minnesota Orchestra) and Michele Frisch (principal flute of the Minnesota Opera and VocalEssence).
The local performance will include Victory at Sea by Richard Rodgers, Highlights from Jurassic Park by John Williams, Saint Paul's Suite by Gustav Holst, American Fantasia by Victor Herbert, and a special commissioned work by Hollywood film composer/orchestrator and UNW alum (2010) Jordan M. Cox entitled Arran & Nerys featuring Roger Frisch, violin and Michele Frisch, flute.
