ALBANY, NY (08/04/2010)(readMedia)-- "My priority will be to root out public corruption in our state government," says Daniel M. Donovan, Jr., GOP candidate for NYS Attorney General, in an exclusive interview published today by the Empire Page.
"It's critical that we restore integrity back in our state government and tackling public corruption is the first step," Donovan states.
Donovan promises to "work with localities to protect residents from never-ending property tax increases". When asked how he would do that he focused on pursuing Medicaid fraud and returning recovered proceeds to the localities, something that does not happen at present.
Donovan has also introduced what he calls "common sense measures" to increase transparency, prevent fraud and boost the integrity of the state pension system.
The entire interview with Dan Donovan can be found in the Improving New York section of the Empire Page website.
