ST.PAUL, MN (12/13/2010)(readMedia)-- Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minn. announces that Bethany Jackson, daughter of Jim and Lynne Jackson of Chaska won the Aria Division of the Concerto-Aria Contest held on Thursday, December 9, 2010 with her performance of "Monica's Waltz" from The Medium, by Gian Carlo Menotti, accompanied by Janet Scovill.

Jackson studies voice with Carol Eikum, and is pursuing a Vocal Music Education degree. She is a junior from Chaska, Minnesota.
