ALBANY, NY (05/17/2010)(readMedia)-- "Regarding Ms. Gillibrand, she has done nothing to improve the BIG picture of this state's economy and this state like others is headed for socialistic financial ruin," states Dr. Scott Noren explaining why he's hoping to win the Democratic Party nomination for the US Senate seat currently held by Kirsten Gillibrand in an exclusive interview published today on the Empire Page website.
Noren, who describes himself as a "fiscally conservative Democrat," believes that "New York needs to lead the nation in becoming a 'maker of goods' and especially green energy infrastructure." He also preaches personal responsibility including "decreasing alcohol and substance abuse to reduce our national debt when it comes to billions of dollars in unnecessary health care costs." Dr. Noren argues that $300 billion in healthcare costs can be saved annual by attacking smoking and obesity.
Noren is also critical of massive entitlement programs and states that New York needs "a US Senator that sticks their nose into the face of the very State that is asking for Federal dollars and is one of the most socialistic States in the country when it comes to entitlement programs."
Dr. Noren also advocates complete withdrawal from Afghanistan and Iraq. "The time has come for the Afghan population to demand a better government instead of a drug-controlled/influenced economy at the expense of American troop lives," he states.
The entire interview with Dr. Noren can be found in the Improving New York section of the Empire Page website.
