FREDERIC BRENNER EVENT ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 7 CANCELLED DUE TO WINTER STORM FORECAST

Albany, NY - The "Creative Life: A Conversation Series" event with photographer Frederic Brenner scheduled for Wednesday, March 7 at the University at Albany has been cancelled due to the forecast for a winter storm with heavy snow accumulations across the Northeast.

A selection of photographs from Brenner's collaborative project, This Place, will be on display at the University Art Museum through April 7. See exhibit information.

The "Creative Life" series continues with Garth Fagan, choreographer of "The Lion King," on Wednesday, March 28, and Grammy and Tony award-winning actress Patti LuPone on Thursday, April 26.

Created and produced by the New York State Writers Institute, University Art Museum, and UAlbany Performing Arts Center in collaboration with WAMC Northeast Public Radio, the "Creative Life: A Conversation Series" features leading figures from a variety of artistic disciplines discussing their creative inspiration, craft, and careers in conversation with WAMC's "Roundtable" host Joe Donahue. The events are free and open to the public.

Major support for The Creative Life series is provided by The University at Albany Foundation with additional support from the UAlbany Alumni Association, College of Arts and Sciences, Office of the Provost, and University Auxiliary Services.
