ST.PAUL, MN (04/23/2010)(readMedia)-- Katie DeWitt was recently named to the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) All-American team, earning First Team NCCAA All-American honors. DeWitt was previously named the NCCAA North Central Region Player of the Year.
In 29 games, DeWitt averaged 23.8 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. DeWitt's 85 assists were a team-best, along with her 43 steals. The junior, who transferred to Northwestern after playing at Drake University in her freshman year, scored 1,000 points in an Eagles jersey quicker than any other player in NWC history.
