Nancy Henry, 2013 Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) of the Year

CLIVE, IA (11/01/2013)(readMedia)-- The Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) - Iowa Chapter recently announced Nancy Henry of Sioux City as the 2013 CRS of the Year. The award was presented at the Chapter's annual meeting held earlier this fall in Altoona.

Henry, who is a licensed Realtor® in Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota, is a broker/owner at Henry Homes 'n More, Inc. in Sioux City. She has been an active member of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), the Iowa Association of Realtors®, and the Greater Sioux City Board of Realtors® (GSCBR) since 1980. She has earned several of the real estate industry's highest designations, including CRS, Graduate, Realtor® Institute (GRI), Accredited Relocation Specialist (ARC) and Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE).

With the Greater Sioux City Board she has served in a number of

roles. She has been a member on the Board of Directors for many years, member of the Finance Committee, Social Committee, Community Relations Committee and Grievance Committee. In the past she served as President of the Realtor® Political Action Committee, Treasurer of GSCBR and President of the board. For her service, she has been recognized by GSCBR by receiving the Annual Service Award and the Realtor® of the Year award.

Not only is Henry very active within the real estate community, she is known for her dedication to a variety of civil causes. She is a Red Cross volunteer, past member of the Sioux Trails Girl Scout Executive Board, volunteer for the Children's Miracle Network, past member of the Welcome Wagon and Newcomers to Siouxland Organization, past member of the Junior Women's Club, Nativity Parish Council member and a past visual artist volunteer for Art Splash.
