North Coast Connectors Launched This Week

New Business Referral Group Meets Every other Tuesday in Carlsbad

CARLSBAD, CA (08/22/2007)(readMedia)-- North Coast Connections, a newly formed business referral network, located in Carlsbad, CA announces an invitation to prospective members. The group holds its meetings every other Tuesday from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM at Old Republic Title, 1000 Aviara Parkway Suite 110, Conference Room. The next meeting is September 4, 2007.

“Like other referral networks, our goal is to recruit and support members who are serious about growing their businesses,” says North Coast Connections’ newly elected president, Dr. N. Elizabeth Fried. Fried heads The Learning Engine, a Carlsbad, CA, based executive assessment, training, and coaching firm.

“What sets us apart from similar groups is that there is no corporate infrastructure to create a financial barrier to entry and ongoing renewal fees Thus, there are no upfront costs to join, and dues are only $5 per meeting. We have a very competent core group and rely on our own members to share responsibility for education and administration," Fried states.

Regular attendance is mandatory to insure that members fully understand each others' businesses and are committed to effectively promoting their colleagues. We also provide opportunities for 20-minute business showcases at meetings and offer educational presentations every other month on business building and networking.

North Coast Connections plans to grow its membership from its founding 10 members to a maximum of 30 by the end of the year. Membership is limited to one per profession.
