ST.PAUL, MN (12/12/2008)(readMedia)-- The Northwestern College Orchestra and Jazz Band from St. Paul, Minn. will present a free public concert in Eau Claire as part of their winter 2009 tour on Tuesday, Jan. 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the Bethesda Lutheran Brethren Church, 123 Hamilton Avenue.
Playing a blend of music by Ellington, Armstrong, Mancini, Sondheim, Debussy and Gershwin, and featuring pianist Dr. Richard Lange, the ensembles will provide a symphony of jazz that will fly you to the moon!
Other stops on the six-day tour include Maple Grove, Minn., Westby, Baraboo and Brookfield, Wis., as well as Chicago, Ill.
