Northwestern College Orchestra, Jazz Band Present Local Concert

ST.PAUL, MN (12/12/2008)(readMedia)-- The Northwestern College Orchestra and Jazz Band will present a free public concert in Baraboo as part of their winter 2009 tour on Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 3:30 p.m. at the St. Clare Meadows Care Center, 1414 Jefferson Street.

Playing a blend of music by Ellington, Armstrong, Mancini, Sondheim, Debussy and Gershwin, and featuring pianist Dr. Richard Lange, the ensembles will provide a symphony of jazz that will fly you to the moon!

Other stops on the six-day tour include Maple Grove, Minn., Eau Claire, Westby and Brookfield, Wis., as well as Chicago, Ill.
