Northwestern College Orchestra, Jazz Band Present McHenry Concert

ST.PAUL, MN (12/12/2008)(readMedia)-- The Northwestern College Orchestra and Jazz Band will present a free public concert in McHenry, Ill., as part of their winter 2009 tour on Thursday, Jan. 8 at 7 p.m. at Faith Presbyterian Church, 2107 West Lincoln Road.

Playing a blend of music by Ellington, Armstrong, Mancini, Sondheim, Debussy and Gershwin, and featuring pianist Dr. Richard Lange, the ensembles will provide a symphony of jazz that will fly you to the moon!

Other stops on the six-day tour include Maple Grove, Minn. and Eau Claire, Westby and Brookfield, Wis.
