ST.PAUL, MN (06/19/2012)(readMedia)-- Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minn. was listed in the Star Tribune Top Workplaces 2012, ranking 18th among 30 Minnesota large organizations that made the top 100 list. The rankings came from high-scoring results on a comprehensive employee survey conducted by Workplace Dynamics.
In survey results, Northwestern employees ranked high in personal engagement and sense of purpose in their work, also rating their managers above national benchmarks for employee care and concern for wellbeing. With 83 percent employee participation, Northwestern surpassed the 66 percent state average.

"In serving students and listeners, they create a workplace culture that glorifies God by valuing people and relationships, the heartbeat and 'DNA' of what we're all about at Northwestern College and Northwestern Media."
Top Workplaces recognizes the best companies regionally and nationally, based on employee opinions about company leadership, career opportunities, workplace flexibility, compensation and benefits. This year 71,206 Minnesota employees from 331 organizations were surveyed. Rankings are composite scores based solely on employee responses and the highest scoring organizations were ranked within their size category: large (500+ employees), medium (150–499 employees) or small (50–149 employees).
