ST.PAUL, MN (01/19/2011)(readMedia)-- Northwestern College (Minn.) head men's basketball coach, and Richfield resident, Tim Grosz earned his 200th career victory on Saturday night with the Eagles' 81-61 win over Presentation College in Aberdeen, S.D. In his 11th year of coaching, Grosz is the first Northwestern head men's basketball coach to reach the 200-win plateau.

Grosz entered the 2010-11 season with 192 victories in college coaching, just eight wins away from Club 200. With a current college career coaching record of 200-112, Grosz ranks first amongst his predecessors at the school with a .641 winning percentage. After coaching high school basketball in the Twin Cities for several years, Grosz took over the program at Northwestern prior to the 2000-2001 season. A Northwestern alumnus, Grosz's teams have reached the 20-win mark four times while experiencing winning seasons in all but one of his 11 years at the team's helm.

Coming off an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) championship and the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division I national championship in 2010, Northwestern is currently 8-6 in the current season.
