INDIANAPOLIS, IN (03/25/2011)(readMedia)-- Philippe Moore loves to play the saxaphone. He also loves to teach. The junior music education major from Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis will give his junior recital on March 27, 2011, at 2 p.m. in the Allison Mansion on the campus of Marian University.
Moore is also in the university's marching band, the Marching Knights. He's been able to share that love of music performance with students at Triton Central High School in Fairland, Indiana, where he's worked withe the marching band there. He helped the Marching Tigers acheive their first state finals birth and created the school's first winter percussion ensemble. He also composed and arranged numerous pieces of music for the ensemble.
The recital is open to the public.
