Reid Berens named to NCCAA All-American team

ST.PAUL, MN (04/23/2010)(readMedia)-- Reid Berens was recently named to the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) All-American team, earning NCCAA Honorable Mention All-American accolades. Berens, a Northwestern College senior, led the Eagles to their first NCCAA Division I National Championship on March 20.

Berens averaged 14.6 points and 6.7 rebounds per game in 29 contests this season-both numbers led the Northwestern squad. He also grabbed 23 steals while dishing out 43 assists. Berens' 55.7 shooting percentage was tops amongst the Eagles' 16 players.
