CARLSBAD, CA (06/17/2008)(readMedia)-- A leading management consultant and author of the book The Taboos of Leadership, Anthony F. Smith, will reveal the painful, touchy, intimate, difficult-to-discuss, and politically incorrect realities of leadership at the next San Diego Professional Coaching Alliance (SDPCA) meeting. The workshop will be held Monday July 14, 2008 at 9:30 at the Courtyard by Marriott Kearny Mesa, 8651 Spectrum Center Blvd., San Diego (858- 573-0700).
Smith will provoke the audience by addressing common leadership taboos and myths, by helping coaches understand leadership beyond convention and the executive mindset.

Anthony Smith is co-founder and a managing director of Leadership Research Institute with more than 20 years' experience in executive development, social anthropology, and leadership design, having worked with such clients as The National Football League, General Electric, Goldman-Sachs, Coca-Cola, ESPN, American Express and Siemens AG.
Meeting registration and networking take place at 9:30 - 10:00 am, meeting and guest speaker at 10:00 am - Noon. No pre-registration is required. A special Coaches-in-Action meeting follows from 12:15 - 1:00 pm. The San Diego Professional Coaching Meetings are free to SDPCA members. Guests are always welcome.
