Hastings Reeves - Aria division winner

ST.PAUL, MN (02/08/2012)(readMedia)-- Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minnesota, announces that T. Hastings Reeves, son of Mark and Julia Reeves of Bismarck, N.D., won the Aria Division of the Concerto-Aria Contest held on Saturday, February 4, 2012. Reeves performed "Tutto รจ disposto...Aprite un po'quelgi occhi," from Le Nozze di Figaro by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, accompanied by student Seoyon Susanna Lim, piano.

Reeves studies voice with Carol Eikum and is pursuing a Vocal Music Performance degree. He is a 2009 graduate of Fargo South High School.

As a winner of the competition, Reeves will perform as featured guest artists with the Northwestern College Orchestra, under the direction of David Kozamchak, on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Northwestern's Maranatha Hall.
