Phelps Training Systems Opens at Farmers Market
Serve High School & College Athletes, Working Professionals
MENANDS, NY (09/04/2008)(readMedia)-- Phelps Training Systems, a warehouse style gym, opened its doors September 1, 2008 in the Capital District Farmer's Market's Administrative Building in Menands. Located on the first floor, Phelps Training Systems serves as the Capital District's leading authority on Strength and Conditioning for high school and college athletes, and for working professionals who are looking to get into better shape.
Phelps Training Systems was created by Matt Phelps, who spent three years as the head strength and conditioning coach at Siena College. Matt has taken many of the same techniques that he applied to athletes at the Division I level, and is implementing them at his gym in Menands to get results.
Phelps Training Systems utilizes group training methods to get optimal results for athletes, at a fraction of the cost that one would pay for personal training. Currently there are sessions available seven days a week for high school athletes, and a "Metabolic Meltdown" class that is offered for working professionals on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Matt is offering a free complimentary workout to all new clients who wish to see what the experience is like.
Conveniently located just off of Broadway in Menands, Phelps Training Systems is just 20 minutes from Cifton Park, 10 minutes from downtown Albany, 10 minutes from Latham, and less than 10 minutes from Troy.
