Urbana University Lands 8 on GLFC All-Academic Team

URBANA, OH (11/16/2011)(readMedia)-- The Great Lakes Football Conference has released its 2011 All-Academic Team, and eight Blue Knights have made an appearance on the squad for the second consecutive season. Blue Knights amongst the 28 members of the All-Academic Team include sophomore center Kyle Wallace (West Milton, Ohio/Milton-Union HS), senior running back Brandon Jackson (Columbus, Ohio/Northland HS), sophomore wide receiver Nate Wilburn-Ogletree (Brookville, Ohio/Northmont HS), junior left guard Andrew Minda (Dublin, Ohio/Coffman HS), sophomore long snapper John Krabill (West Liberty, Ohio/West Liberty-Salem HS), junior linebacker Drew Underwood (West Jefferson, Ohio/West Jefferson HS), sophomore cornerback Jake Krupko (Homeworth, Ohio/Marlington HS), and junior linebacker Shane Cahill (West Jefferson, Ohio/West Jefferson HS). In order to make the GLFC All-Academic squad, players must be starters or key reserves of at least sophomore status in the classroom with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.20. Wallace is one of just two members of the squad to post a perfect 4.0 GPA. Wallace is a second-year biology major at Urbana.
