Schumer to tour new 40 acre technical park

GLENS FALLS, NY (02/19/2012)(readMedia)-- Glens Falls Mayor Jack Diamond will be welcoming US Senator Charles Schumer this Monday (February 20th) at Tech Meadows Campus at 3pm.

Senator Schumer will be at Tech Meadows to promote the Glens Falls Local Development Corporation's 40 acre tech campus and support efforts to attract new businesses and funding to Tech Meadows.

Local 773 Plumbers and Steamfitters have announced plans to construct a regional job training center this spring on one of the 8 sites.

Tech Meadows is located off exit 18 of the northway

exit off the northway and proceed from interchange east on Corinth Road into the City to the first traffic and trun left onto Media Drive. Proceed on Media Drive for approx 1/4 mile and turn left onto Luzerne Road by WGF Emergency Squad Building and proceed for approx 1/4 mile on left will be tech meadows site

The event will held at this intersection with Veterans Road.
