GLENS FALLS, NY (08/16/2011)(readMedia)-- Glens Falls Mayor Jack Diamond has announced that Senator Schumer will be in Glens Falls Wednesday August 17th at 330pm to inspect and tour along the South Street Project – which will be followed with a few remarks at the Empire Theater Building 11 South Street (Senator Schumer secured nearly $1M for this main street project )

Schumer will announce a major effort to end a required tax that small businesses have to pay on interest to the New York State Unemployment Insurance Fund,
